Let’s Rage

My husband loves Groupon. Or maybe, he loves the fact that he can find adventurous things for me to try to satisfy my need for action. Tonight was no exception. We headed to Destruction Depot, a rage room.

Not knowing what to expect we arrived and signed our lives away with waivers. This seems to happen with a lot of things I do, hmm what does that say about me? Once that was complete, it was time to “shop” for what we wanted to destroy. We were given a tub of items and then purchased a printer/scanner/copier as we were told it would be a fun item to destroy.

From here, it was time to suit up! Donning coveralls and safety gear, we headed to the wall of weapons to use. I chose a huge wrench (channeling Dom from Fast and Furious) and a pan (Rapunzel is fierce). Others chose a baseball bat, a golf club and a crow bar.

Then we were led to the “party” room to start breaking sh*t! And wow, was it freeing! Throwing plates, smashing bottles and disassembling the printer was a great way to release stress, laugh and spend an evening!

I’d definitely recommend this experience. This Rage Room is run by a Veteran and his wife who were so nice and helpful, so it felt great to support this small business. And the best part of it all, we did not have to clean up!
